Understood, but I think their messaging is unfortunate as well. Again, I understand the rhetorical strategy -- minimizing the perceived threat we represent -- but the danger of a quantifier like "very small," I think, is that it potentially raises questions about why people should care about what happens to us given everything else that's going on right now. It's not a major issue -- as I said, I appreciate your calling attention to what's happening to our community. Fwiw, when I refer to the community collectively, I describe us as "a small but not negligible minority."
